We collect certain information to provide a smooth, efficient, and personalized experience for our users.
a. Personal Information
We may collect the following personal details during sign-up or usage:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Mobile Phone Number
- User Role (Client or Housekeeper)
b. Location Information
We collect location data in two specific ways to match clients and housekeepers and coordinate tracking:
- General Location: Collected upon app initialization to map clients and housekeepers within a defined service radius.
Live Location Sharing (Housekeepers Only): When a housekeeper accepts a task and marks their status as "On My Way" or "Started", we collect precise, real-time location data. This is shared with the client to provide an accurate estimated time of arrival (ETA) and for safety reasons. Tracking continues only for the duration of the active task and stops immediately when the task is marked "Ended". This runs as a foreground service on Android, showing a persistent notification.
c. Authentication and Account Information
We store authentication details to secure accounts and prevent unauthorized access.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Information is only shared between matched clients and housekeepers as necessary to schedule, confirm, and execute bookings (e.g., sharing a housekeeper's name, phone number, and location details with the matched client during an active service request).
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to delete your account, you can request account deletion (see Delete Account page).
Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or correct your personal information. You can manage your profile details directly within the Hombsy app or contact support at support@hombsy.com.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date.
